NUDES IN WOOD (Series #2)

Size: 23" x 32"
Paper: Rice

This print, made from driftwood, already shaped on one side to suggest a torso, was executed on a Harold Wright press bed size of 30" x 48". The rice paper was folded to include a second shape to mirror the original shape on the right hand side. Similarly, for the left hand side, the shape was reversed (exagerated) to complete the torso illusion.

  3. A lovely form and I agree with Tracy, it is very sensuous.

Margaret, the quote from the other day with the line about stomping feet, I do agree with what you said. I also feel that too many people hear stomping feet on the other side of the world and say, oh it's so far away it will not affect me. I think the quote is saying we are all affected by any event in our world, no matter how small or far away. That is just my interpretation of the words.

  5. Very sexy! I like that there is plenty of curves - curvatious silhouette is always more appealing in my eyes :)
